Blue Water Surfboards and P.S.I(Pacific Surf Industries) were founded by Brett Ballou and Mike Huseman of Huntington Beach. PSI was originally started as a company to distribute polyurethane foam from Australia to help the surfing industry in its dire need after the shut down of Clark Foam. Quickly we transformed into a full one-stop shop. Now Blue Water is one of the only dedicated Epoxy glass houses in Orange County, centrally located in Huntington Beach.

The Blue Water Glasshouse is now laminating for the likes of Robert August Surfboards, Austin Plastics, and many more.

In 2006 Blue Water licensed Wyland art to be put onto both rideable and collector edition surfboards.
